In the Hautes-Pyrénées, nature still dictates its law. While the sanctuary of Lourdes attracts millions of pilgrims each year for its unique architectural heritage, the picturesque village of Arreau in the Aure and Louron valley is known for its unmissable 16th century Town Hall. The Pic du Midi promises exceptional nights under the stars of its observatory. But it is in the Pyrenees National Park that you can admire the highest peaks of the French Pyrenees reflected in the turquoise waters of Lake Gaube.
