The 03.10 was indispensable for the Reichsbahn in the East until 1980. 18 machines were put back into operation by the Reichsbahn after the war. The regular services include the express trains between Berlin and Stralsund. Today's 03.10 museum locomotives include 03 1010 and 03 0090.
