This tour takes us to see the two largest volcanoes in Costa Rica, the Irazú Volcano and the Turrialba Volcano, two colossi that emerge in the province of Cartago. For this route we will have both gravel and asphalt roads, with very beautiful views of the landscapes that nature offers us. A tour that has the following route: We leave from San José, take the Florencia del Castillo road until we reach Taras where we detour to continue the route to the Irazú Volcano, then we will continue on route 417 towards Hacienda La Central, after that we will take the road that takes us to the towns of Capellades, Pacayas and Cot, we will detour towards Cartago to continue through Coris, then Patarra and finally San José. English: Road: 70% asphalt 30% gravel Location: Cartago Province, Turrialba Canton Maximum altitude: 3045 masl Duration: From San José a total of 6 hours round trip Travel date: April 2022 Motorcycle: BMW F800GS Total distance: 152 km round trip. Tolls: 1 toll booth on the Florencio del Castillo highway Temperature: between 10 to 24 degrees Celsius.
