"Schmierfinken" is the fourth case of the Hamburg junior detectives and friends Marek, Lukas, Koko and Johanna. "What is he doing?" "He's holding Marek by his legs!" "Damned graffiti pack!" "Um... Point one: we're not the graffiti artists. And point two: would you please stop grabbing my legs!" Scandalous! Life is really not easy as an Alster detective. You're investigating a new, exciting case and suddenly you're a suspect yourself...! The fact is: graffiti writing is appearing all over Hamburg: 'Streethell'. But what or who the heck is behind this "street hell"? The writing suddenly appears as if by magic - on buses, garage doors or cars. Nothing is safe anymore. It hasn't had anything to do with art for a long time and it's not funny either. The Hamburg police are in the dark and aren't making any progress in their investigations. That's why MP Strasser asks the Alster Detectives for help. Their fourth case requires full concentration: Does the hip-hop scene have something to do with it? Did a few young people scribble around out of sheer boredom? Or is this supposed to be art? What do you think? "The Alster Detectives" are a project by the Hamburg Parliament based on an idea by Katrin Wiegand and Kai Schwind. Illustrations: Ulrich Velte.
