Pictures of the Geislinger Steige from Amstetten, Geislingen and Kuchen on the old long-distance line Stuttgart-Ulm-Munich. The pictures were taken between August and October 2022. Highlights were the bicycle/leisure express trains that ran on weekends from Stuttgart via Ulm to Lake Constance and to Singen, which ran over the Steige almost every weekend with a differently painted BR218, as well as the IC Allgäu-Ruhrgebiet, which was also pulled by B218 in double traction. Other highlights are the TGV and Railjets and for me the ICE1 and ICE4 on this winding steep route are always worth seeing.
