Raised on Rock and Dance Music, matured and enjoyed in club nights, underground basements, festivals and on the airwaves, and now graduated and in charge of some of the hottest and most popular dance floors in the South of Brazil. This is the trajectory of almost 30 years dedicated to music by Mauricio Singer, DJ Mauricião. As a radio host (and DJ in the true sense of the term), he started in the FM world in 1990, producing programs for Estação Primeira until 1995. Then, from 1997 to 2005, he was a collaborator at 96 Rádio Rock, producer of programs at Rádio Educativa, from mid-2002 to the end of 2003, and from 2006 to 2012 he was in charge of 91 Rock, where he was producer and presenter of Pop/Rock, Punk Rock/HC and e-music programs. In 2014 he also worked at Lumen FM as an executive producer and presenter. As a musician, he is the bassist and vocalist of the punk band No Milk Today, which he founded in 1993, and has also played in several other bands in the city. He has also been a supporter of the entire Brazilian alternative rock scene through the Barulho Records label, of which he was a partner for 5 years. As a professional DJ since 2000, he started out at the bars Sucatão and Vox, where he became a resident at the 'Hang The DJ' party – at the time specializing in 80s/90s revivals – sharing the booths with several other DJs in the city. He is one of the organizers of Ramones Day, an annual event that celebrates the American band's first show in the city of Curitiba. ######Ramones Day###### When: November 14, 2024.
