President Prabowo instructed the Ministry of Industry, Finance, SOEs, and Manpower to find a solution to save Sritex, the largest textile company in Southeast Asia, from bankruptcy. But the question is, are those good intentions right? The impact of Sritex's bankruptcy could indeed lead to mass layoffs of its employees, which once reached 50 thousand employees in 2018.
