We visited Nevado del Ruiz on September 29, 2024 and it gave us an unusual event: we were able to see snow, but; How did we get there? We left Medellín very early and took the Manizales-Murillo Tolima route, as dawn broke we were delighting ourselves with one of the best roads that exist in Colombia, full of frailejones, mountains and hot springs, we arrived at the Nevados National Park, we were fortunate to reach the Valley of the Tombs with a view full of snow and history.
