Translation and interpretation policies from/to/between Sign Languages (SL) are essential to ensure inclusion, accessibility, and linguistic rights for deaf communities in different legal contexts. It is important that, for these policies to be implemented, there be theoretical, methodological, and professional alignments between deaf people, translators, interpreters, and legal professionals. In other words, promoting institutional management that values the training of these professionals, taking into account the alignment between practices and beliefs, is one of the emerging and urgent demands in the country.
