#sexting, an English term composed of two words, "sex" and "texting" (i.e. "sex" and "messaging"), is used to describe behavior related to the exchange of messages, audio, images or videos - especially via smartphone or social network chats - of a sexual or sexually explicit nature, including images of nudes or semi-nudes. This phenomenon, which in recent years has become increasingly widespread among adolescents and minors, however hides dangers such as #cyberbullying and #revenge porn.
