On Friday evening, September 6, 2019, many visitors came to the shopping center De Ridderhof for a beautiful SER summer evening concert by the shanty choir De Brulboei. The choir now consists of enthusiastic men and women from the Drechtsteden area (you know: Dordrecht, Zwijndrecht, Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht and surroundings) who love to sing. They are now led by conductor Anny van Wanrooy and accompanied by three experienced accordionists, the banjo man and the "tambour" with large and small drum and ………… not to forget: the ship's bell. De Brulboei is known for their pleasure in singing, the varied repertoire and the interaction between choir and audience under the canopy of the shopping center De Ridderhof in Ridderkerk.
