Hello everyone, today I present to you the principle of sandponics (IAVS in English). Sandponics is a low-tech aquaponics practice, which is based on the use of sand as a growing medium and is ideal for an amateur system. It is a relatively simple method to implement, which has many advantages that I list in this video. Sandponics was developed by Dr. McMurty, an American scientist, in the early 90s (to see the list of his publications, it's here: https://www.researchgate.net/profile/.... It is in a way the ancestor of the aquaponics that we know today, but simpler and just as effective.
