On the shores of Lake Morasco in Val Formazza, completely dug into the rock, is the Edison Group power plant. Its operation will be automatic, its turbines driven by the water flowing in the forced conduit maintained at 2500m above sea level by a colossal dam that blocks the basin of the Sabbioni glacier. The construction of the dam has engaged 1200 men for 5 seasons, including workers, technicians and managers. This documentary tells not only the evolution of the work, but also the daily toils of these men, now anxious about the explosion of a mine, now silent because of the nostalgia of their distant family.
