🤗 Super delicious, super quick & super easy! You can prepare your spaghetti carbonara with bacon and cream in the Thermomix® right at home. 🧑🍳 Of course, it still tastes like it came from your favorite Italian restaurant. 🇮🇹 Our Thermomix® expert Dési will show you how you can easily recreate this dish! 😍 🥣 Ingredients for 4 servings: 800 g hot water 50 g water 400 g spaghetti 200 g cream 100 g Parmesan, in pieces 3 egg yolks 100 g diced ham Salt 2 pinches of freshly ground black pepper 30 g extra virgin olive oil 1 tsp vegetable spice paste Put the Parmesan in the mixing bowl, chop for 10 seconds speed 10 and transfer to a bowl. 2. Put the diced ham and olive oil in the mixing bowl and cook for 6 minutes 100 °C 3. Boil 800 g of water in a kettle and add to the mixing bowl with the spice paste, cream and ½ tsp salt. Boil for 5 mins. 100 °C anti-clockwise gentle stirring. 4. Remove 50 g of the liquid, mix with 50 g of water, the egg yolks and the Parmesan in a small bowl. Set the cooking time stated on the spaghetti packet plus an additional 3 mins. 100 °C anti-clockwise gentle stirring and add the spaghetti through the lid opening into the mixing bowl. Gradually press down with the spatula. 5. When the cooking time is over, set the cooking time for another 3 mins. 80 °C anti-clockwise gentle stirring and slowly pour in the egg mixture through the lid opening. Stir using the spatula. Season to taste with 2 pinches of salt and pepper and stir well again in the mixing bowl with the spatula. Divide the spaghetti and sauce between plates and serve.
