Hello to you dear rail-loving friends! Last week was the 2024 edition of the European Heritage Days. And who says JEP, says circulation of beautiful railway convoys all over France! And the star attraction of this year was the transport by the CC 72074 of the TGV PSE 16 train, which went to the Technicentre of Saint-Jacques-de-la-Lande, in the suburbs of Rennes, to be exhibited there on this occasion. The outward march took place on Thursday, September 19 via Les Aubrais, St-Pierre-des-Corps, Le Mans and Laval. The return to Villeneuve-St-Georges was on Sunday, September 22 via Dol-de-Bretagne, Folligny, Argentan and Versailles. The perfect opportunity to photograph this magnificent convoy on the small Normandy thermal lines! In this video, we will follow the convoy mainly on its return journey, although there is a shot during its outward journey on the Laval Viaduct. As a grand finale, you will witness part of the maneuvers upon arrival at the Villeneuve-Saint-Georges Yard! All that remains is for me to wish you a good viewing! ;)
