Hello. Today I will conduct an experiment reselling the repair scheme of the all-wheel drive clutch of the Volkswagen Tiguan 2.0tsi. This car has a problem, namely, the rear wheels lock when turning or turning the car. Suspected of a jammed clutch. Diagnostics of the all-wheel drive of this car, removal, defect detection, see my previous videos. Having dealt with the problem, having called the offices that sell spare parts, it turned out that it is unrealistic to buy friction clutches, and it is possible to buy only the clutch assembly or even the rear axle itself! The prices are not encouraging. At the same time, they are also expensive in time. OH! While we are waiting for spare parts ... And for the purpose of an experiment! And not a guide to action, I decided to try reselling the repair / restoration scheme of the clutch. Because real resellers would have done it)) I do not know how this adventure will end), I am interested myself. And most importantly, will on-board diagnostics be able to subsequently identify critical wear of the clutches. But we know in advance that the wear is critical and the clutches are subject to replacement! The goal for today is to sort out the clutch clutches, which have boiled/welded together as a result of excessive force and an increase in temperature inside the clutch over 180C. Next, assemble the clutch and prepare it for installation on the car. I will show you what solution I came up with for the problem, what and how I work. Tools, materials. Jambs and problems, difficulties. Also, this video will be useful for those who disassembled the clutch like me for a TOTAL and correct wash! After all, after washing and cleaning, in any case, it will be necessary to assemble the clutch)) Therefore, we watch and assemble. And one more thing! If you have a strong desire to overcome or storm off-road in an SUV, even despite the fact that this is the best SUV on the market), look at the consequences of such experiments and the cost of repairs!) And the desire should go away by itself)) Why!? Watch the video ... All work is done by ourselves in the garage, we do everything quickly and as clearly as possible. I feel this is not the end of my adventures with this car) Next, about everything in order. Watch this video, although it turned out to be long, but! It will be interesting.
