As a way of delving deeper into the work of the prolific writer, and complementing the exhibition Gonzalo Torrente Ballester, the journey of a creator, the National Library of Spain is hosting a round table of experts on his work. Moderated by Carmen Becerra Suárez, curator of the exhibition, this round table will feature speakers who are experts in three of Gonzalo Torrente Ballester's literary facets: his journalistic work, his dramatic production and his novel writing. The participants are Ana María Gómez-Elegido Centeno, a professor at the Complutense University of Madrid and a specialist in the journalistic work of Gonzalo Torrente Ballester. José Antonio Pérez Bowie is a professor of Literary Theory and Comparative Literature at the University of Salamanca. He is also an expert on the dramatic writing of Gonzalo Torrente Ballester.
