In the early 1920s, the first official radio broadcast in our country took place in Rio de Janeiro, although the people of Pernambuco claim this feat as their own three years before Roquette Pinto's initiative. The fact is that Radio developed and became the main means of communication in Brazil in the 1930s, 1940s and 1950s. Even today, with the supremacy of television and the advance of digital media, it has a captive space among the public. In this program, we will talk about the trajectory and historical importance of Radio and also discuss the present and, mainly, the future of this means of communication. To this end, Alberto Dines welcomes Magaly Prado, PhD in Communication from PUC, to São Paulo.
