"Deeply discharged car batteries are broken and need to be replaced" - that's what I once thought too... Without giving too much away from the film, I can say that's not really true. With my adjustable direct current welding device from IPO, the battery can be desulfated by targeted overcharging. This means that even a deeply discharged "defective" battery can be revived. Of course, it is important that a few basic conditions are met. The battery must be full, the battery plugs must be open so that gases can escape. It is also essential that the power source (welding device) works with direct current and is adjustable. Measuring devices such as a battery measuring device are also necessary. Important! You are handling electricity, acid and oxyhydrogen gas. This means eye protection, gloves and a certain basic understanding of technology and occupational safety. Conclusion: Car batteries are not fundamentally broken if they are discharged or deeply discharged, this experiment clearly showed that. Old batteries can also be revived!!! At least it won't do any harm to try AND a little electricity is much cheaper than a new car battery...
