As a 10-year Japanese living and walking small town guide, I visited Takayama in Gifu Prefecture, which I had been waiting for. It is not too far from Nagoya, but since I live in Tokyo, I took a bus for 6 hours from Tokyo to get there. It is a small town that is not yet famous in Korea, but it is a pretty town that has been visited by a lot of Westerners and Southeast Asians recently. As more and more Koreans are leaving big cities and visiting small towns, it seems that many people will visit there soon.
