The Office of the Rector and the Office of the Vice-Rector for Development and Human Resources Management (Prodegesp) of the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC) will hold a public hearing next Thursday, March 16, at 9 am, in the Auditorium of the Socioeconomic Center (CSE), on the Trindade University Campus, in Florianópolis. The agenda will be the implementation of teleworking at the University, with emphasis on the release of the schedule. “The initiative is extremely important for the academic community of UFSC, since teleworking can contribute to improving the working conditions of employees and optimizing the university's resources”, highlights the Vice-Rector Sandra Regina Carrieri de Souza, from Prodegesp. The Teleflexdim WG, responsible for studying teleworking, flexibility and dimensioning policies, worked for five months to produce the final report. The document – ​​which contains 132 pages – was delivered to Prodegesp in January. Based on this document, the management will present its pilot project proposal and schedule for implementing teleworking and expanding services with flexible working hours.
