In order to prepare the room properly before you start plastering, it is important to tape off the floor with plaster runner. Also make sure that your power is turned off. Keep a mobile lamp at hand so that you can check that the plasterwork is smooth and even. 01:50 Cleaning the wall Before you start plastering, it is also important to clean the wall properly. You do this with a paint cleaner that is suitable for the surface of your wall. 02:17 Preparing the wall To further prepare the wall, first apply a primer. Primer works as a base layer that ensures better adhesion. Depending on the type of wall you are going to plaster, you need a primer or a base coat. Primer is suitable for absorbent surfaces such as plasterboard, plaster blocks and concrete.
