#Paramaribo #Suriname #ABC #ABC Online ABC Online News - October 23, 2024 PL: attitude towards ABOP will not change in parliament If Pertjajah Luhur (PL) is expelled from the coalition, the attitude in parliament will not necessarily be against the government. All decisions will be taken in the interest of the country and not based on the current political situation. This is what PL parliamentarian Evert Karto says. Karto indicates that in DNA the PL and ABOP parliamentarians have not discussed the issues at stake. The PL is taking a wait-and-see attitude until the president returns, to decide what steps will be taken. The PL and ABOP have been partners in cooperation, even before the 2020 elections. There has been a rift in that cooperation recently, after a failed attempt to set up one joint party. The ABOP immediately dismissed top PL officials from its ministries and demanded the departure of Bronto Somohardjo as minister. The party was also able to achieve this. Karto is surprised that people from the PL are being sidelined in such a way by a coalition party. He calls it improper management. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Visit our website: www.abcsuriname.com Radio 101.7 FM TV Channels 4.1 and 4.2 The Love Station The Current Affairs Channel
