Video from October 9, 2021. Part one. Piedmont Railway Museum. MFP. Models, memorabilia, the large model but, immediately, the magnificent rolling stock. Fabio, such an expert and such a friendly volunteer, accompanies me and explains in his own way. (In the video I then insert an old film of mine from 1996 with the historic rolling stock at Turin Ponte Mosca). Large turntable from the early twentieth century with a diameter of 21 meters and, around it, a circular shed with a roof installed starting from the early 2000s (and still incomplete), with valuable pieces. A jewel, the manual crane that belonged to FTV Torino Ceres, around 1860. The splendid FS ALn 776 1001 railcar, Fiat year 1939, two Fiat 356C engines with 9972 displacement: simply perfect. Grey closed wagon FTN P 515 Ferrovie Torino Nord. Locomotive GR 895 159 ex Fornicoke Savona, year 1914. Unique example the D 461 1001 CoCo, Fiat Savigliano year 1961. On the platform a control desk of a D of the Canavesana. Orange ABL 0717, Badoni type VII year 1951 Fiat 368 engine. Beyond the platform the GR 981 001 with toothed wheel for Strub rack, built by Breda under license from SLM year 1922. Deutz V36 ex Italcementi year 1930. Here is Lucia the steamer MFP 422 009, year 1911, built by Hanomag. E 431 027, beautiful three-phase year 1924 built by TIBB Vado Ligure. The snowplough wagon VNX 806 221, former three-phase loco 550 173. In the yard stands out the three-phase E 432 031. Opposite is an E 626, Double of railcars: ALn 668 907 ST + ALn 668 906, type 1800 FS. Electric motor car FNM EB 700 02, year 1928, built by OM. Carriage Corbellini BCz 69180 FS, chassis year 1910. FTN B 93. E 432 031 seen more closely. Flatbed PF 605137. FTN 23, Breda from 1937. Two nice draisines. Badoni ABL 512, Fiat 364A engine. GR 625 164 year 1922. The Museum also houses three E 626 and there is a practically empty E 428. A F 1151 308 canteen car. Railcar 668 D 11 Canavesana. Fabio takes us for a ride on the platform and a short stretch of track with the Draisine built by OTE Bologna, year 1953, with the engine and gearbox of the Fiat 508C 'Nuova Balilla'. Then we see the turntable rotate, with compressed air. The headquarters building houses equipment, accessories, tools, bibilotza, uniforms and a section dedicated to models, over 500, and plastic models. With the large plastic model donated to the Museum by a member. I'll take this opportunity to talk about my plastic models too. The one I built when I was 15, then the Val Seriana and then the Sexaginta. I'll mention the 'Plastico di Chiari' that I built for a dear friend. Then off to Germagnano for a shuttle run to Ceres (the route will be closed the following month). The FTC ALn 668 901 ST, M 001 trappulella arrives at the station. Derived from the 1800 FS type, built by Fiat Materiale Ferroviario, year 1972 (!!!). The electromagnetic clapper of the resilient Leopolder announces an arrival. The veteran trappulella ALn 668 901 arrives as train 238 at 13.32 from Ceres and leaves for Ceres as train 231 at 13.42. We take the opportunity to have a quick bite, in a place with ... surprise (AMI Continental 2 jukebox year 1962 ....). At 14.32 the 668 901 returns from Ceres as train 342. We board and leave at 14.42 as train 235 to Ceres. Continued ....
