Peyam-i Garb aims to build a community whose “boundaries of language and world”, as Wittgenstein put it, are getting closer to each other in our age where people have a harder time communicating and understanding each other; where the common symbols that are talked about and discussed are gradually evaporating. Because being in a small or large community consisting of individuals who are aware of each other’s books, movies, and works that they watch can be considered the most difficult and meaningful action in the world right now. In Peyam-i Garb, where each listener will be considered valuable with their tangible intellectual experience and unique readership adventure, Nabi Avcı and Aykut Ertuğrul will conduct a conversation every month, moderated by Aykut Ertuğrul, that will range from a book to movies, songs, paintings, and literary and artistic events in Turkey and the world. Every journey towards words, concepts, thoughts, and books is personal, grand, and mysterious. You are all invited to this journey.
