It is the most important day of their lives: three aspiring chefs are taking their final exam. The trainees had to learn how to use a stove, wooden spoon and food for three years, until the all-important day. On that day, Focus TV accompanied the apprentices with a total of eighteen cameras in the Nuremberg vocational training center. They recorded every mistake and documented every success in detail, but also every mishap. Who will keep their nerve under the stress of cooking: Dorina Krusch (21), who learned in the canteen of an insurance company, Carlo Roth (23), a trainee in a gourmet restaurant, or Marvin Heep (20), who comes from a hotel kitchen? To receive their journeyman's certificate, the candidates have to conjure up a three-course meal under great time pressure and with specified ingredients. All of this under the strict eyes of four examiners who mercilessly punish every mistake by deducting points. Who makes it and who fails?
