Welcome to this new video! Today we are at Parma station, a yard with 8 tracks including 1 trunk, recently restored with the installation of a large glass roof to cover the entire square in the central part. The filming was done on March 30, 2024 during a windy day, the audio unfortunately is not the best; we are in the middle of the Milan - Bologna, perhaps the most important line in Italy. From here also branch off the lines to La Spezia (Pontremolese), Suzzara and Brescia, which add variety to the already very busy MI-BO; numerous regional and fast regional trains arrive and depart in Parma, including those of Trenitalia-Tper, both electric (ETR4/5/621 Rock and ETR103/4 Pop) and diesel (the legendary ALn 663/668 and 72422 and the ATR220) and the R8 relationship of Trenord to Brescia, operated with the Stadler ATR803 Colleoni. In addition to this, we also find long-distance trains such as the numerous Intercity and Frecciarossa trains of Trenitalia coming from/going to the Adriatic coast. There is also a lot of varied freight traffic; in the video there are two Vectron Oceanogate and DB, an E405 refilmed in MIR galvanized livery and an E483 of Medway in Angel Trains livery, even if some other freight trains passed through that I was unable to film. Enjoy!
