This documentary aims to understand and portray the social dynamics of the city of Paranapiacaba based on the historical testimonies of its oldest and most symbolic inhabitants. The railway town, built in 1860 following the installation of the railway that connected Jundiaí to the port of Santos, has its rise, heyday and decline closely related to that of the railway to which it was an accessory. With the reduction in railway activity, the local routine changes drastically, giving tourist and museum aspects to the city's daily life.
