The Paasikoski grist mill and the mill shed are located in Lylykylä, Puolanga, along the Lylyjoki river, on the shores of Paasikoski. A log coffer dam is connected to the mill. According to the years in the end triangle, the mill was built possibly 1889. The second year is 1901. There have been seven houses as partners in the mill. The mill has been in use until the end of the 1950s. The old mill is also believed to hide the mill elf's secret abode. The shed that was part of the mill complex has been destroyed. The mill's structures are owned by Senate-properties, which manages state real estate, to which it was transferred from the museum agency, which in time bought the buildings from the villagers. The Museum Agency renovated the mill and the structures in 1991. Since then, maintenance has been neglected. Otherwise, the mill would probably be in working order, but the vanes below it are broken and they can no longer transfer water power to the millstones. When I photographed the previous mill, I got a ban on the whole village, we'll see how this goes... Join the channel and enjoy the benefits: / @lonelyurbanex
