The Institutional Program for Teaching Initiation Grants (PIBID) is a program run by the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel - CAPES and aims to promote initiation into teaching, contributing to the strengthening of higher education teacher training and to improving the quality of Brazilian public basic education. IFMG has a successful history in the Program that began in 2011. Since then, PIBID has involved managers, teacher trainers, future teachers and students of Basic Education. This program has been ongoing, in its successive editions, consolidating important repercussions in the training of future teachers in the different areas that make up the undergraduate courses at the various IFMG campuses. This event aims to mark the beginning of PIBID in its 2024 edition. The Program includes 11 IFMG Undergraduate courses, distributed across 6 campuses, namely Bambuí campus (Degrees in Biological Sciences, Physics and Physical Education), Congonhas campus (Degrees in Physics and Letters), Formiga campus (Degree in Mathematics), Ouro Branco campus (Degree in Pedagogy), Ouro Preto campus (Degrees in Physics and Geography) and São João Evangelista campus (Degrees in Mathematics and Biological Sciences).
