Agnieszka Mazurek experienced the greatest possible tragedy that can befall a parent. Together with her family, she fought a heroic fight for the life of her only daughter Alicja a few years ago, in front of the whole of Poland. Alicja Mazurek spent two years in a coma before saying goodbye to her parents. Agnieszka talks about that time and what she went through in an incredibly moving way. This is a story about the infinite power of love, faith and that even the greatest tragedy does not have to be the end. Because Ala left something behind - a foundation in her name, which helps those who find themselves in a similar situation to her and need rehabilitation, but cannot afford it. Helping others get back to fitness is the most beautiful possible testament. The Wstawaj Alicja Foundation, together with the Neurorehabilitation Center in Turka operating at it, do wonderful work. It is one of the few such well-equipped places in Poland.
