The Northern Alps, Hotaka mountain range. Here, there is a traverse route that connects Nishihotakadake and Okuhotakadake, famous as the most difficult climbing route in Japan. It is a dangerous place that even experienced alpinists and climbers do not climb carelessly. The steep knife-edge ridge, commonly known as "Umanose", which could be said to be the biggest and final obstacle on this route. It once boasted an impregnable rock ridge, and drove many alpinists and climbers to their deaths. One man challenges Umanose, which has a sinister aura! What awaits at the distant peak?
