Lake Malawi is the 9th largest lake in the world and the 3rd largest lake in Africa, and it occupies one-third of the country's land. It is a place where Malawians live a prosperous life and is a symbol of Malawi. The Yao people, who practice traditional fishing, live in 'Senga Bay' located on the shore of Lake Malawi. They are blessed people who do not have to worry about water, unlike other African countries, because they have a lake so wide that it can be mistaken for the sea.
