What will happen to the stock market if Trump really becomes president? And is this the surprising reason why the stock markets are rising so sharply? Stock market legend Dr. Jens Ehrhardt reveals what will happen to the stock market and why there is no all-clear for German stocks. "The stock market is making a very good impression," says Dr. Jens Ehrhardt. There are constantly new highs almost everywhere and gold is doing well too. "The only thing that disappointed me a little this year were the bonds, but most people are underinvested in them," he adds. But then the German stock market legend presents an astonishing reason why the markets are rising so much. Ehrhardt explains that there were no monetary reasons for such sharply rising stock markets. "But what was really, really different was the fact that the Americans, but also some Europeans, especially those in southern Europe, took on a lot of government debt." And this drove the prices up. "This government debt was the ultimate driver of the economy. Without these trillions of new debts that the Americans have pumped into the system, the economy would be much worse, corporate profits would be worse and the stock market would not have risen," says Jens Ehrhardt. However, Dr. Jens Ehrhardt remains skeptical about German stocks. The MDAX is still weak because its companies are heavily dependent on the German economy. The DAX, on the other hand, is very international and that is why the index is doing better. #Trump #Harris #Gold
