More info: https://france3-regions.francetvinfo.... On September 5, 2022, at 2 p.m., the trial for the July 14 attack on the Promenade des Anglais in Nice will begin in Paris before the Special Assize Court. The attack left 86 dead and several hundred injured. The assailant, Mohamed Lahouaiej Bouhlel, was shot dead while driving the truck. The courts will examine the responsibilities of eight people in his entourage, or intermediaries in the circuit of the weapons intended for him. 3 people will be tried for criminal terrorist association, five others, for whom the judicial investigation could not demonstrate that they had knowledge of his planned terrorist attack, for criminal association and violation of the legislation on weapons. To date, 865 direct or indirect victims, physical or psychological, have joined the case as civil parties and will therefore have the opportunity to testify before the court. Others will be able to do so at the start of the trial. How are these victims living 6 years after the tragedy? What do they expect from justice? This week, we are giving the floor to some of them. The attack in Nice had the particularity of affecting many families, and many children who came to watch the fireworks. Today, we will speak to a mother who, with her little girl, survived a miracle.
