Do you know what VRTKs are and why they are important for urban development? The journey from Jihlava to Prague can be faster than, for example, the journey by metro from Zličín to Černý most. The Railway Administration is preparing a new high-speed railway network in the Czech Republic. It will be built according to French standards for TGV train lines, thus creating a new backbone of the Czech railway network in passenger transport. It will also include the Prague East terminal, for which an architectural competition was held last year. During the evening, representatives of the Railway Administration, Metroprojekt and IPR together with the architects of the winning team, Jiří Opočenský and Štěpán Valouch from ov architekti, will present the design of the new terminal and the upcoming high-speed railway system.
