For all the Jelenas and for all of us who still enjoy their music, for all future generations to whom we owe the story of the band that has written the lines of many youths, this Friday, in the Opet Laka podcast, we will host Miša Bartulica, founder and leader of the Bolero group. The self-taught musician from Livno, author of the lyrics, music and arrangements of the beloved songs of this musical group, admitted to us that his father is the most deserving of his musical path, he recalled the two-day binge due to the defeat of Želja, the pancakes that Tifi made, his school days and his 10 units out of 11 subjects. These two artists wondered where the empathy and kindness had gone, and Bartulica told us the story of his great youthful dreams. At the age of twenty, I imagined a better world. That is some of my, so-called, madness, both in music and in my lifestyle. I thought that in twenty years everything would be fixed, that it would be great, that there would be no wars... Even Oliver Dragojević sang in his song "2002. year, years on the suite, oh well, only then it will be good, it will be good in Split", there were some expectations that it would be better. All this thought that it will get better seems a little silly from this position. Elites dictate today. Which domain it is, which people it is, that's another thing, but in any case, they don't go towards a person. The human category of benevolence, which is perhaps the most valuable, has disappeared completely. Empathy, kindness, too. Maybe all of that should be returned as a subject in school, said Bartulica. Laka, as expected, supported his interlocutor and, even more expectedly, proposed an additional subject - rejoicing in other people's happiness, as a skill that many people lack today. Although it generally seems that as soon as you have some success, people envy you, not everyone is like that. But it's not good that hatred between people has been implemented. Through wars and everything that happens to us, hatred only intensifies, it doesn't stop. I recently received a link from a friend where two American generals are talking about some sophisticated weapons for the future. They're talking about, like, what will happen in 2035, that they will make such weapons, so the intention is not to move towards something better, peace, but to make weapons to kill. But what's the point, they make them, like, for defensive purposes. I don't know where this is leading. Given that nanotechnology is now, they will probably make nanoatomic bombs and put them in a keyhole, added Bartulica. Do you like our content?
