The theme of this MAD is "looking back on the story" as before, but we created it with a hidden theme of "Levi and Kenny" in the spotlight.・In this MAD, I used a lot of glitch effects (effects that distort images and subtitles) like the one at 0:39, which I did to evoke the chaos of revolution. More specifically, at 3:24, I expressed the feeling of wavering thoughts due to questions that have no answers. ・Also, when the subtitles for "On the Night of the Revolution" at 0:39 become distorted, they turn red, but red is the image color of revolution, so I used red as an accent color in various places in the first half of the video. ・In the subtitle for "Who do you believe in and what do you choose" at 0:42, the light of the flames is projected onto the subtitles and the shadows are slightly swaying, which is a modest part, but it took quite a while to create. ・1:34 The first time I created a blood effect was for the MAD for "Wings of Freedom," but now I can create blood effects that are much more realistic than they were then. ・1:56 I really like the effect here that changes the color of the Wings of Freedom mark. Actually, I wanted to make an animation like this for the MAD of "Wings of Freedom", but I gave up at the time due to editing technology. ・2:09 Here, the "bell" caption vibrates in time with the sound of the bell. ・2:17 Here, there is a very small sound of a door opening (wood creaking), which links with the video. However, this was not intentional, and I actually realized it after I finished making it. Linked Horizon's songs have various sound effects, each of which has a specific meaning. I think that the sound effect at 2:17 was probably added by Revo with this scene in mind. ・After the revolution is successful, Hanji says, "The choices of each individual person have changed this world," and the reason so many people are shown at 2:28 is because of that. ・3:05 Levi clutches the knife on which Kenny is shown. I believe that this scene beautifully expresses the relationship between Kenny and Levi.・3:30 In "Dancing in the Void", I made it so that the smoke behind it looked like it was covering the subtitles. It's a little hard to understand though. ・3:40 Here, the sound of stabbing something with a sword is linked to Hanji's attack. ・4:00 Here, I made it so that the subtitle "Ah" looked like it was being pulled, but I wonder if it looked like that. If there was a long time, it wouldn't be that difficult to make it look like that, but since the time was short, it was quite difficult. ・4:06 The scene where Levi asks Eren again "Choose which one you like" after Rod Reiss turns into a titan, with no way to retreat. It's truly "the dice of fate are cast suddenly". ・4:49 This ending is my favorite of all my MADs. There was a time when I was wondering whether to make the MAD for the Royal Government Arc in "Requiem of the Dawn" or "On the Night of the Revolution", but this scene is one of the reasons I chose the latter. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you have any questions about editing, please DM me on Twitter.
