After graduating from the Academy of Music, where she studied with prof. Irena Milkevičiūtė, Aušrinė Stundytė left for Germany, because many people left at that time - there was no work in Lithuania. Now she sings not only in European, but also American, Japanese theaters and music stages. Many people remembered her completely unexpected kiss to Edgar Montvid during the concert for the 700th birthday of Vilnius. It was unexpected even for Montvid himself, but it turns out to be completely impromptu. "I saw that there were so many young people in Vingios Park who came to listen to the second part of the concert, but they had to wait for it, so I decided to entertain them," says the soloist. Those impromptu performances are sometimes costly, as happened in Paris, when her partner, John Daszak, who by the way had just sung in "Salomeia" in Vilnius, fell and cut off her toe, because she kicked off her high heels and was barefoot on stage that day in search of new expressions.
