It was 980 km of pure adventure and unforgettable memories. The journey along the Rite of Mirrors from Lima to Castrovirreyna is one you cannot miss if you are an off-road enthusiast and can stand the freezing weather. For a long time you are alone with the mountains and impressive landscapes which make the experience enriching. The fuel supply is provided in the villages in an artisanal way but always bring your reserve. The municipal lodging in Castrovirreyna charged me 20 soles and in Huancavelica I paid 40 soles per night apart from the garage 5 soles per day. The food is cheap and you walk almost all the time. Don't miss going to Izcuchaca, the jewel of Huancavelica, which although neglected is very beautiful to visit.
