In this video I present what was possibly the last cytoplasmic organelle discovered by science, the Peroxisome. This organelle participates in several processes of degradation of organic molecules, but its greatest memory is the synthesis of an enzyme called catalase. This enzyme's function is to degrade hydrogen peroxide, hydrogen peroxide into water and oxygen.
