Cuenca City of Fury: A tribute to Soda Stereo On December 15, 2007, Soda Stereo gave their last concert in the city of Córdoba, Argentina. On December 21, 2007, Soda Stereo closed their tour "You will see me return" at River Buenos Aires - Argentina, which became the last concert in their history, with the original band. A group of 170 musicians, fans of the band, considered by many to be the most important in Spanish rock, met on December 15, 2019 to play together the group's iconic song, De Música Ligera, and film this video that was shared on December 21, at 9:49 pm (time when Soda was in the final stretch of its last concert 12 years ago). The video was recorded live in La Libertad Park in the city of Cuenca, Ecuador, where until two years ago there was a prison, the same one that represents Fury, which today through good Rock is transformed into freedom. Those of us who are part of this great band hope that this tribute is the first of many. Because Soda Stereo and Gustavo Cerati have left us a musical legacy that transcends generational trends. This is demonstrated by the composition of this group of fans that has members ranging from 13 to 56 years of age, also formed by professional and amateur musicians who have some things in common: a taste for good Rock, Soda fans, and a deep love for our city: Cuenca, City of Fury!! This video is intended to demonstrate our admiration and respect for Soda Stereo, for its three original members Gustavo, Charly and Zeta, for the memory of Gustavo Adrián Cerati Clark as leader, and for the millions of fans who, like us, have vibrated with their music. We hope you all enjoy it as much as we did while making it. Thanks Total Geniuses!!! Pablo Leonardo Pesántez
