The light source should therefore not be reflected in the monitor. If you are not looking at the monitor but are reading something at your workplace, you should make sure that you have even, direct lighting. COMFORTABLE LIVING ROOM LIGHT Appropriate lighting is also important in the living room. Similar to the monitor on the desk, there should also be an additional light source next to the television. For example, a small table or floor lamp next to the device is enough. It should not be too bright, however. Dimmable lamps can be adjusted individually. Lighting planner Malte Maaß says: "You should always make sure that you have a second light source in the room so that the eye does not focus on the only bright spot - in this case the television - and you do not get tired of your eyes." BRIGHT BATHROOM LIGHT In the bathroom, even light is particularly important so that the face is well lit. It should definitely not come exclusively from above. Especially at the mirror cabinet, it is important that the lighting comes from the sides so that the face is illuminated from both sides without shadows. If the light only comes from above, it emphasizes the dark circles under the eyes.
