Briefly describes the purpose, interface and protocol elements of the CAN bus version 2.0A. This remarkable bus is widely used in cars and other systems. There are quite a lot of transceiver chips for it, microcontrollers with built-in implementation are produced. The bus consists of a two-wire twisted pair, allows exchanging short messages without overloading the packets with unnecessary data.
