The Lahntalbahn runs from Wetzlar to Koblenz and connects the towns in the region over a distance of around 104 kilometers. The route includes the Kirschhofen, Gräveneck, Villmar, Fachinger, Cramberger and Kalkofen tunnels. With the help of a so-called "millipede" we transported the tunnel widening system (TAS) from the eastern pre-cut to the eastern portal. In the next step we drive the three-part system into the Cramberger tunnel. In this video you get an insight into the transport of the TAS to the eastern portal.
