VIII Men's Siege of Jasna Góra - Spiritual Battle and Prayer On September 28, 2024, Jasna Góra once again became the site of a unique spiritual pilgrimage - the VIII Men's Siege. The event gathered thousands of men who responded to the call for prayer, reflection and spiritual strengthening before the upcoming Jubilee of 2025. The entire meeting was a response to the papal call for the Year of Prayer and deep spiritual preparation. Spiritual Battle in Prayer The meeting began with a workshop in the Father Kordecki Hall, where the men gathered at Jasna Góra had the opportunity to take part in deep reflections on the prayer "Our Father". The teachings of Bishop Waldemar Musioł and Father Przemysław Kwiatkowski were the main point of spiritual formation. This prayer, as the speakers emphasized, is not only a formula, but a program of Christian life, which Jesus fulfilled through his teaching and actions. Bishop Waldemar reminded us that the prayer "Our Father" is not just words, but a summary of the entire mission of Jesus, which is to become the daily program of life of every Christian. Testimonies of Spiritual Strengthening One of the most moving elements of the meeting were the testimonies of men who shared their experiences of conversion and change of heart. In his testimony, Piotr Szwędrowski told about a personal encounter with God's mercy that changed his life. The Knights of Columbus shared stories of their initiatives and spiritual commitment, emphasizing how prayer and brotherhood changed their approach to daily duties. Sebastian Stelmach moved the audience by sharing his experience of conversion, which was the result of deep commitment to prayer and service to the Church.
