The American largemouth carp (Ictiobus cyprinellus) is native to Minnesota, it is similar to our carp, but its average age is 75 years. There are also known carp that lived to be more than 100 years old. They have no problem migrating and spawning as planned, but spawn often do not live to adulthood. What can this almost century-old fish do? This was discussed at the live recording of the Laboratory at the Night of Scientists.
