WGM Josefine Heinemann vs OrcaChess English opening game 3 A brief profile of her opponent: Josefine Heinemann discovered her passion for chess at an early age, at the age of 7, in a school chess club in Gardelegen. In 2006 she played in her first state championship in Saxony-Anhalt and won her first title in the U8 women's category. The following year Josefine played in her first German championship. However, it took a few years before she was able to achieve success there; she won her first national title in 2013 in the U16 women's age group. From then on things went uphill a little faster and she was able to make her debut in the women's national team at the European Team Championships in Reykjavik in 2015. The following year she was awarded the title of WIM (Female International Master), and just two years later the WGM (Female Grandmaster) title.
