Just a few days ago, the prosecutor filed an indictment against two men in connection with the largest mafia massacre in European history. It took place on March 25, 1999 in the Fontána bar in Dunajská Streda. Three men in black police overalls, with balaclavas on their heads and machine guns in their hands shot 10 members of the Pápay gang there. The two men the prosecutor is sending to the judge are Alexander Usikov, alias Turek, and Richard Veréb. According to the prosecutor, the man nicknamed Turek was the man who fired a burst of machine gun fire directly at the gang members, including boss Tibor Pápay. According to the prosecutor, Richard Veréb was giving the signal on the fateful night, after which the gang around Ľudovít Sátor launched the murderous action. Veréb was supposed to observe from the window of the opposite hotel who was in the bowels of Fontána.
