Montecor, always one step ahead in innovation and development of solutions for the agricultural producer, presented the H141MR CUT Horizontal Mixer with a cutting auger and epicyclic reducer, long fiber processor. This mixer can process long fiber from roll or mega-bale fractions. It has an incorporated epicyclic reducer that improves the mixer's processing capacity; it provides efficiency with less maintenance. It is designed with three paddle augers, of which the lower one has 104 Ingersol daisy-type blades on its periphery that work together with 26 counter-blades incorporated in the bottom of the trough. These counter-blades slow down the circulation of the material and modify the length of the fiber by the cutting exerted by the blades. Unlike vertical mixers, these brakes are fixed and their braking intensity cannot be modified to exert a differential effect of fiber cutting. The two upper augers have smooth blades and are used to transport the material from the centre to the ends of the trailer. The power generated by the tractor is transmitted by the drive bar, at a maximum of 540 RPM, and received by an epicyclic reducer that incorporates a box. The latter has a second input shaft (profile 1 3/8 Z6) that is used for particular cases of jamming of the lower auger. The reducer has a torque limiting system to preserve the useful life of the mechanisms in the event of a jam or problems that require an occasional overpower. The upper augers are driven by chain gears. The power consumption in the TTP at 540 RPM is 80 HP, for a capacity of 10 m3, depending on the ingredients used in the ration. The discharge is carried out on the left side with a double auger trough driven by an orbital hydraulic motor. The height of the trough and the opening and closing of the trough flap (gate) are regulated from the control system through a hydraulic circuit. This opening is what releases the mixed material and, together with the speed of the augers, determines the flow of forage delivered to the feeders. It has an electronic scale model Hook AT150 which stores up to 4 rations in memory. During the loading or unloading phase, it records ingredients in parts or batches with their kg. It has an audible alarm for the loading phase of each ingredient. It is equipped with a two-axis tandem system (rocker) equipped with 11L x 16 covers.
